The East Asia & Pacific Affairs Bureau engages with partners and allies in the region to foster peaceful and mutually beneficial relations. Through scholarly analysis of cross-regional economic, political, security, and social/cultural interactions we promote a rules-based free and open East Asia and Pacific region unimpeded from the tyranny of communism.
